Steroid Testimony Before U.S. Sentencing Commission
On April 12, 2005, testimony was taken before the United States Sentencing Commission as to whether federal anabolic steroid offenses should be treated with stiffer punishments, such as by changing the way steroid quantities are calculated. Rick Collins submitted written testimony, as well as more extensive oral testimony on a variety of additional points. The Commission voted not to increase steroid penalties yet, instead requesting more time to study the issue.
